Is the whole thing really open source?

The engine, the command line tool and the project format are Apache 2.0 in a public repository. Studio is free for everyone. The only paid surface is generation through our relay, which you can bypass entirely with your own provider keys.

Does my footage get uploaded anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Composition, conform and render happen on your machine. The only bytes that leave are the prompt text and reference frames for a cloud generation you explicitly authorised.

Question 3

Are there watermarks or resolution caps on the free tier?

Accepted Answer

None. Anything rendered on your own compute is unmetered, uncapped and cleared for commercial use, including 6K output while paying nothing.
